Joy in the Journey was given 501(c)(3) status through the Community Foundation of

Western PA & Eastern OH. It was founded by a couple who lost their children in a fire

and wanted to turn their grief into a way to help others. Their mission is to help donors

reach their philanthropic goals while expanding charitable giving throughout our

regions. With a shared mission, we felt this was the right “organization” to work with.

We are grateful for them accepting us as a new fund and collaborating with us on new

projects. While they are the umbrella we financially function under, Joy in the Journey

has complete authority to utilize funds given as we feel called.

From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
